What's new in the ONYRI Sanitize document dashboard

In September 2026, ONYRI Sanitize got a new dashboard. You add a document through one window, drop a file anywhere on the page, and track your recent work in a This session table. Every change sits on the same rule as before: the file never leaves your browser.

We built this dashboard, so read this article with that bias in mind. Each change below solves one problem: showing you what happens to your document, without slowing down the moment you drop a file.

What changed in the ONYRI Sanitize dashboard?

• A new add-document window: pick a detection profile and a masking mode before anything runs.
• Drop a file anywhere on the documents page, not only inside one drop zone.
• A This session table lists your last documents, kept in memory only.
• An actions column next to the open document: download, switch mode, review detected data.
• A daily counter card shows how many of your three Free documents you used today.

How does the add-document window work?

Click Add a document, or drop a file on the page, and a window opens first. Pick a detection profile, for example a country or a set of custom rules. Choose Black marker or Token mode. Nothing gets analyzed until you confirm.

• Jane Example scans a lease every week. Her detection profile stays set from last time, so she only picks the mode again before each import.
• Choosing the mode first avoids a second pass: the preview already matches what you picked.
• You can still switch the masking mode later, from the actions column, once the analysis has run.

Can you drop a file anywhere on the page?

Yes. Drop a PDF, a Word file or an image anywhere on the documents page, not only in one small zone. The page blocks the browser's default action first, so your file opens in ONYRI Sanitize instead of taking over the page.

Dragging is not the only way in. The Choose a file button sits in the same window, for anyone who finds a precise drag hard to do. The World Wide Web Consortium's accessibility guidelines ask for exactly that kind of single-pointer alternative.

What is the This session table?

Every document you process during a visit lands in a This session table, below the add-document window. It lists up to five files, each with a Download again button. Nothing here belongs to an account: refresh the page, and the table is gone.

What do you see once a document is open?

Open a document, and a card fills most of the page. Detected data sits in a list, grouped by family, with one checkbox next to each value. An actions column sits beside the card on a wide screen, or in a sticky bar underneath it on a phone.

• Download builds a new, flattened file: a picture of each page, with every mask baked in.
• Switch mode moves the document between Black marker and Token mode, even after analysis.
• A warning appears next to any value that could not be placed on the page, so nothing is masked in silence.

How does the daily counter work on Free?

On the Free plan, a card on the left shows how many of your three documents today you already used. Free also caps each document at 10 pages, and offers Black marker only.

Pro removes both limits: documents and pages become unlimited, and the counter card disappears. Pro also adds Token mode, technical-secret detectors, and unlimited custom rules and profiles.

Why does the server only see counters?

None of these changes send your document anywhere. Detection and masking still run in your browser. The server only receives counters, documents, pages, masks, so it can apply your plan.

Regulators call this idea data protection by design. Article 25 of the GDPR (EU) asks a system to limit personal data to what each purpose needs, from the first design choice. The UK's Information Commissioner's Office says organizations must limit their use of personal information to what is necessary to achieve each specific purpose.

France's data authority, the CNIL, gives similar advice to developers: build in anonymization and data minimization from the first design choice, not as an afterthought. ONYRI Sanitize applies the same idea to documents: only counters travel to the server, never the file.

What are the plans, and what are the limits?

• Automatic detection is not exhaustive. Review the list before you download, on every plan.
• The export is always flattened: a PDF or PNG made of page images, with no text layer underneath.
• Scans and images are read by on-device OCR, in English, French and German. Handwriting is not read.
